Hansika & Karishma Subramanian

Hansika Saroja and Karishma Padma are fifteen year old sophomores at the Bridgewater Raritan High School.

They started learning dance at the age of two and a half and have performed ballet, jazz, tap and hip-hop. The twins began learning Bharatanatyam with Guru Suba Parmar and Guru Monalisa Dhobley at the age of six, and with Guru Swamimalai K Suresh at the age of eleven. Hansika and Karishma enjoy Bharatanatyam as it gives them insight into their Indian heritage and culture.

They look forward to continuing their Bharatanatyam journey as alumni of Shubanjali School of Performing Arts.

They volunteer as tutors for children through the “Learn To Be” organization. Hansika is a self-taught American Sign
Language enthusiast while Karishma is passionate about fitness. Hansika wants to pursue a career in Business and Karishma in Health Sciences.
